I use XP OUTLOOK, I loaded AVAST! anti virus and now I',m recieving lots of
"copies" of all my emails everytime I send and recieve. It seems that the
original is not being removed off the server. Any solutions

Well, if it started when you loaded avast, the first thing I'd do is remove
Avast, reboot and see if it still happens.  If it doesn't, then you know
something is up with it's email plugin and maybe you should install the A/V
without that bit.

I found out that it was Vista doing it.. The "D" recovery drive was at 95%
full and raising cane inside there with multiple programs. Got ahold of tech
support and staightened things out by running backup files to my external
instaed of the default "DUH" drive.

Alwaysw disable the email integration of any antivirus software you install.
Uninstall AVAST and reinstall it without the mail scanner.
