How do I make Tasks show only the active tasks in Outlook Today?

I can not make old completed tasks disappear in the "Outlook Today" page.
Hence, I have a cluttered view of old completed tasks together with currently
due tasks.  I have changed the view in Task Pad to "Active Tasks," but this
does nothing to change the "Outlook Today" view.  I do not see any
appropriate ways to change the task view to accomplish this in "Customize
Outlook Today."

Please advise.   Thanks!

Check the View you are using for the actual Task folder.  Change it to be only for Active appointments.

Let us know if this made a difference

Hi Francine:  Thanks, but I've already changed the View in the Tasks section
to show ONLY "Active" or uncompleted tasks.  That seems to have no effect on
what I see on the "Outlook Today" page.

"All Tasks" or "Today's Tasks" are your only choices.
