How do I add a photo to an email that will be already opened?

I am trying to send a mass email and would like to have the photo already
opened so that the reader does not have to open it.

You would need to create an HTML message and embed the photo into it.  See
http://www.slipstick.com/mail1/html.htm#howto for help with creating the HTML
content.
