I posted this a few days ago. I recently upgraded to office 2007. Running an
HP Pent D with XP SP2, I have a dell axim X50 with Windows Mobile 2003 on it
and now Activesync 4.5 tells me that it cannot synchronize as Outlook is no
longer installed. I have deleted the partnership and sync folder several
times and re-created them to no avail. Files, Inbox & Favorites all Sync up,
what does not work is Contacts, Calendar & Tasks... Weird.
It obviously sees outlook as it is synching up the mail.
Any ideas?
Thanks Much!

Creating a new profile and re-importing my backed up .pst did the trick.
Thanks for the help folks!

Keep in mind that importing from a PST is ill-advised.

Hi Stu,
I had a similar issue when using ActiveSync to synchronize outlook wiht my
PDA.
My solution was to goto Active Sync options and deselect all (mail,
Calendar, Notes, etc).
then run Sync (to synchronize MS Money only). It synced successfully.
then I went back to options and selected Mail, Synced, repeated with Tasks
and Notes.
That seemed to fix it for me.
Regards,
Nabeel
