Items flagged for follow-up

I have items flagged for follow-up and they appear in both my Follow-Up
folder and my inbox.   Once flagged for follow-up I do not want them to
appear in my inbox.  Is there a way to accomplish this?  From what I've read,
it seems they have to stay there or in my sent for the pop-up reminder to
work.   If that's the way it has to be, are there any plans to perhaps make
an enhancement so that it doesn't need to be both places?

Bear in mind that the For Follow Up folder is not a real folder.  It is a
search context that looks in your other folders for messages on which the
follow-up flag has been set.  Your message must be in a real folder in order
to exist at all.

Move it to a folder other than Inbox?

Without third-party tools, reminders pop up only for Calendar, Contacts,
Inbox, and Tasks, as far as I know.  If they work for you in Sent Items as
well, great.

Additionally to Brian, you can get that third-party tool (Reminder Manager)
from www.slovaktech.com
