Upgraded from Office pro 03 to Office ent 2007 outlook with BCM on XP…

Office 03 worked fine.  Office 07 is so buggy it is barely beta software.  I
don’t know why Micrsoft trashes their reputation by putting software like
this one in general use.

Of the many problems posted, another is this.  For no reason that I know of,
when starting Outllook, and sometimes when it is started by not being used, I
get a dialog that says

MS Office – MS Office Outlook has encountered a proglem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.  If you were in the middle of something,
the information you were working on might be lost.  The two buttons are Debug
and Close.

It closes and reopens fine.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bob

Is Outlook 2007 fully patched? Have you checked your application event viewer
for any Office-related errors?

My guess is that you have PST corruption.

The safest way is to create a new pst and transfer over all the data into
the new one after making it the default.

Please remember to drag and drop mail items rather that importing (which can
cause further corruption). Please let me know if this helps or not.
