Attaching (linking) e-mails to Tasks

I think there should be a way to save e-mails to tasks. For example if I have
an open task and someone sends me an e-mail related to that task, I want to
be able to link them together so I don't have to open the Task and then
locate the e-mail.

Have you tried dragging the email message to the Notes area of the task when
you create it?  Have you tried dragging the e-mail to the Tasks folder or
right-clicking and dragging the email message to the Tasks folder?
