I need a bit of help.  Someone sent me a very large email that has been
downloading for about 12 hours and is far from completed.  How do I delete
this message from the que without deleting any other email that is
potentially behind it in the que.  Please advise.

Use your web client to delete the message.  Most ISPs provide one.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.  All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

Or alternately, phone your ISP's helpline and ask them to delete it.
