I've just upgraded to Office 2007 from 2003; on an XP PC. In outlook,
the bold blue numbers next to the Inbox tell me I have unread mail but I
cannot see it anywhere. Also, If I change the setting in the Inbox
properties to show all mail in the folder, green numbers tell me I have
278 emails in the folder but I can't see them either.
Can you please advise how I can fix this problem and what is the
difference between the green and blue numbers? I've tried to search for
an answer but no joy.
TIA
Blue means the number of unread messages in the folder; green means the total
number of messages in the folder. Make sure the view you have set on your
Inbox isn't filtering out any messages; also make sure you're not sorting by
the Icon field.
