outlook is not accepting my hotmail email

i have tried everything i could think of. up until this point i thought i was
pretty savy. i need hotmail on my outlook 2003. can someone walk me through
it. i have a sprint pda that was able to sync my hotmail account but my own
comp can do it with good enough software to make it happen. it keeps
prompting me to put my password in and it is in correctly but it still pops
up. when i finally get irritated i click cancel to see the error message
unable to connect or asking me to verify my username and password. please
somebody help.

I downloded the Microsoft Office Outlook Connector from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=7aad7e6a-931e-438a-950c

and it's working fine now.
