Accessing pst file on network drive with Vista

I currently have a wireless network with 3 PCs running XP and Outlook 2003
all of which can access a single pst file on a network drive connected to the
wireless router - not all at the same time though.

I have recently purchased a new laptop with Vista and loaded Outlook 2003
and configured my outlook accounts.  When I try and change the data file to
the existing pst file on the network drive I get an error message saying that
I do not have permission to access that file and yet all the permsiions
appear to be correct?

Any suggestions - Is this a Vista or Outlook problem?

I'm thinking it's a Vista issue where you don't have full rights to see that
share/file. Can you browse the share from the computer outside of Outlook?

Note: MS recommends against accessing PSTs over a network
