Hi Guys,
I have a fairly new HP L2000 laptop running XPPro fully updated. It suddenly
stopped sending e-mails although I could receive them. I have tried to
'repair' office and the system will not do it; I have removed Office
completely, including registry entries, and re-installed. Same problem.
In addition to this the laptop wil NOT open any of the security check pages
at Symantes nor any of the Technical support pages at HP. All other sites are
accessed with no difficulty.
I could send e-mails from Outlook Express.
Who can resolve this issue?

Do you have any 3rd party security software installed (e.g. 3rd party
firewall) that could be interferring with Outlook?

Checked HP help/FAQ pages?, I seem to recollect that some HP software that
came preinstalled had been causing problems.

Although I coul get to most web pages, the pages for tech assistance from
both HP and Symantec will not open.
