Unable to right-click in outlook (and no, it's not my mouse)

I lost my ability to right click on items in Outlook.  A classic example is
to right click on an e-mail to mark as read.  I use this function all the
time, but somehow lost it yesterday afternoon (it worked in the morning).
However, if I select two e-mails and right click, then my menu comes up and I
can mark as read.  I also can not right click on a calendar item.

This happened to me before, and our desktop support ended up rebuidling my
profile to fix it.  I'm hoping there is an easier solution out there...

Thank you in advance!

Did you try restarting Outlook?  Your computer?  What changed when this
started happening (new mouse, patch installed, system crash, etc.)?

I have restarted Outlook and my computer, with no effect.  Nothing changed at
the time it happened either.  I was away from my desk for awhile, and when I
came back, the mouse wasn't working.  As far as I know, no patches have been
pushed thru recently, my mouse is a couple years old, but works fine in other
applications.  My system hasn't crashed for awhile either.  I really wish it
was a simple fix...any other ideas?
