When I open Outlook I used to be able to see the body email msg of the email
highlited.  Now in order to see the body of the email I have to double click
the email to see it.
What do I have to do in order to see the body email without having to double
click it?

I think you're talking about the "Reading Pane".  And if I remember correctly
that can be found in the "View" menu...
