I'm running XP Home on a iMac using Parallels. I'm in a mixed platform
network. Got the Dummies book on BCM 2007 and thought cool you can share a
database with another computer.  Got the warning cannot share using XP Home.
Learned you cannot upgrade to Vista in Parallels, great. Thought I would buy
Vista, do all versions work? How about BCM in the new Office 2008 for macs?
Who knows, because it's not obvious to mere mortals, in fact I had trouble
finding the red flags on XP Home and database sharing. So the question is,
should I just get XP Pro or some unbeknownst to me iteration of Vista to put
in my iMac or wait for Office 2008 that may or may not have BCM in the suite?
