After installing Outlook 2007 the number of read and unread email messages
are being shown on the login screen.  How can I stop this ?  Thanks

Are you referring to the Windows log in for XP and Vista? I don't have MS
Outlook Express installed, and I see that on my log in screen. I am not sure
which client it is picked up from, and I surely don't know how to stop it.

Norman, thanks.  I'm using Windows XP.  The XP login screen did this with
both Outlook Express and now with Outlook 2007.
