Upon opening dialogue box pops up advising that the path...f:\purples is
invalid.  In fact, this was a pst file that has long since been deleted.  It
was placed on my laptop via a Flash Drive which was given the name F.  Upon
canceling the dialogue box I then receive a dialogue box advising that the
file is in the folder "documents", but in fact, it is not there.

Though this problem has been annoying me for months, suddenly it is gone.
Perhaps my action in re-installing Office had something to do with it.  I had
done that just before receiving your suggestion.  Thanks just the same for
the rapid response.  I have delayed responding to see if the annoyance
returned, but it has not.
