when i open outlook 2003 it keeps saying that it has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have tried numerous times and to no avail. can someone help me please... whn it gives you that error there should be an option to check for MOD name whats that ? > when i open outlook 2003 it keeps saying that it has encountered a problem > and needs to close. I don't see any post where you say you tried a new mail profile. Since Outlook and Outlook Express are not related (except in some of their functions), I'd expect them to behave differently. Your question is similar to "I can create HTML with Word but not with Notepad. Why?" Alas, I can't think of any other suggestions except to completely remove Outlook, delete the existing mail profiles, and reinstall, but that may not help, either.
