I am SUDDENLY unable to receive mail via Outlook 2003  - I get the standard
timed out error message already reported frequently on this site
(0x8004210A). I have tried everything that has been suggested in other posts
including disabling AVG - against my better judgement as I often receive
enquiry emails from people I do not know - but even THIS hasn't solved the
problem, so I've re-enabled it. Please note that I collect & send messages
for several different email IDs via Outlook 2003 and I am having the same
problem with all the ISPs

Hi margaret,
This error we get when there is confliction with the Antivirus and outlook ,
because the antivirus tries to scan the incoming e-mails it blocks the port
go to windows safe mode and check i am sure that it will work
go aheand and uninstall the antivirus program and reinstall it again .
