I am trying to use automatic formatting in Outlook 2007 Calendar as I was doing in Outlook 2003 Calendar I have a rule that sets a specific color for an appointment if a specific condition is met (based on subject and category fields of that appointment). It seems that the color assigned to a category (even if "no color" is selected) has priority over the color that is set by the automatic formatting rule. (for example, if my business category is blue and my rule wants to set the color to red if there is an "ok" in the subject and category is "business", then the color of the appointment will be blue, not red - as in Outlook 2003) Is there a solution for this or this is the normal behavior of Outlook 2007 Calendar's automatic formatting?
