Hi,
I am using MS Office 2003.
I want to know how do i open the Offfice Data file (.pst)? Whenever i try to
open it  a caution box pops up and asks me for either Opening the file or
cancelling my request. When i select Open with option, i am given a list of
various programs. But none of them is able to open the .pst file.

You cannot, other than within Outlook
In OL, File>Open>Data File

Outlook created the .pst file.  It is a Microsoft proprietary format
which Outlook understands.  So open the .pst file using Outlook
(File -> Open).
