how do i cancel an email thats in the outbox

I have an email in ther outbox that is not sending and i am unable to delete
it.
How can i delete it?

Put Outlook into offline mode. Exit and reload Outlook. This makes
sure that Outlook does not try to send that item in the Outbox which
locks it from being deleted. Now delete the item in the Outlook. Put
Outlook back in online mode.
