I have outlook setup with the contact using a custom form. I need to
now export the information from each contact into an excel format.
When I try to do this with the standard export option only the
standard information exports. Can this be done?
Thanks
Brian

You can switch the folder view to display all the properties you want to
export. Then select the contacts, copy (press CTRL+C) and in Excel click
Insert.

And when you do this, you get the field names and the data in a list form,
not in columns, so you have to manually edit field names out of each line,
and manually transpose your rows to columns. Try it with a few contacts and
you'll see. This may be accaptable for 5 contacts, but I often have hundreds
in a category.
Is there a way to use the file->export or customized view function to export
only a single category? This way you get a spreadsheet with field in columns
as you need to work with it.
THanks.
