In my Outlook 2007 database I have 28 messages listed in the "Unread Folder". I can not read, delete, copy, or move these messages. How can I correct this condition and delete them? ... The reading pane is blank when one of them is selected. If I choose "message options" in the drop-down it reports "The message you specified cannot be found." ... In which actual folder are they supposed to be? I have a folder called "Unknown" where they would (should) have been placed initially from Inbox. They are not in that folder or any other folder that I can find. ... In your Search Folder choose View-> Arrange By-> Folder This will end the guessing game and tell the right folder to look in. Otherwise; do the items reappear when you recreate the Search Folder? They are listed there as being in folder "Unknown". If I go to folder "Unknown" there are no files listed. (No I am not making this up.) ...
