I am not a hotmail paid account user, its a free hotmail account, kindly

Maybe you could help me with a similar problem? I contacted Microsoft
through Hotmail support this morning and they referred me to Outlook
Connector support, but I can't get past product ID :( Where in the heck
would you find a product ID for the Outlook Connector?
Anyways, I have Windows Live Hotmail and Outlook 2007. I started using the
Outlook Connector a week or so ago and it's been great. This week it hasn't
been syncing at all though. It's not a huge problem since I can still use my
email online, but it's aggravating not to be able to use Hotmail with Outlook
:(
I saw your earlier reply to a similar problem. I removed my antivirus
plugin from Outlook and changed the offline settings for checking mail.
My log says:
"Outlook Connector Version 12.0.4518.1068

I kept reading posts and found a solution :) I didn't mention earlier that
I'd repaired, removed, and reinstalled Outlook Connector.
I didn't, however, didn't the email account entry. I read that someone did
and that fixed their problem. This time I repaired, removed, and reinstalled
Outlook Connector and removed the email account.
It looks like it's working now :) My Hotmail account in Outlook is current!
Seems like a lot of trouble to go through if it happens again though :(

Guess that "fix" didn't continue to work after all :( All looked fine at
first and I got an initial sync. Now the server status is in a perpetual
"connecting" mode and I can't even get a log, plus the log was removed from
my toolbar.
Oh well, guess I'll keeping checking email on the Web. It's just aggravating.
Sending Hotmail from Outlook has never been a problem, but I haven't tried
since this last snafu.
