Sorry I was wrong, I cannot delete any of my "deleted items folder, I keep getting "the messaging interface has returned an unknown error" You don't include enough information for anyone to start troubleshooting. What version of Outlook? What type of email account? What size PST? What troubleshooting steps have you taken? (scan the PST for errors, check the Application Event Viewer, etc.) What is the exact error message (word for word)? Include any error numbers if there are any. Right-click the root on the folder list, choose Properties, click Advanced, and click Compact Now. I uninstalled outlook, reinstalled 2003 archived deleted and sent e-mails then reinstalled 2007. Now I get "folder is full" when I try to delete from my inbox. I have no idea how to check PST files. I hear it is in office 12 under office, but which file? It seems that the problem only comes up when there are a lot of addresses in the "To' line. > I have the same problem.
