Hi.

I'm in the printing industry and I'm having issues with Outlook.

I'm running Office 2007 on XP.

When I receive a PDF proof from my typesetter I forward it on to my customer.
Sometimes they are unable to open it because it changes format to
winmail.dat file.

Does anyone know why this happens and can anything be done?

Cheers,
Peter

Something is causing the message to go out in Rich Text rather than HTML or
Plain text.  If email address of your customer is coming from your Outlook
contacts folder, verify that said contact record isn't marked to receive
Outlook Rich Text only.  (e.g. Open contact record and then double click on
e-mail address)
