I would like to have my calendar - in month view - to load on every startup
and display on the screen.  How can I make that happen?

In Outlook, change your calendar view to Month.  Then under Tools->options->advanced->other, select teh calendar for the startup folder.  In Windows, drag the outlook.exe shortcut to your startup folder to cause Outlook to start when you boot your computer - however, please realize this may cause longer boot times which may be unacceptable.
