I am using Outlook 2003 on WinXP Pro.  I believe some MS updates were done
last night.  Now when I try to select a file to attach by clicking on the
down arrow in the directory listing to get to the file, Outlook hangs up and
I when I close, it quits and sends an error message.  Any others out there?

Follow-up:  I am able to go to different folders via the favorites and places
locations to the side of the selection screen.  I can then select my file and
attach it.  Only when I select the down arrow at the top, showing the default
folder of "My Documents" does my system hang.  I do not have huge numbers of
files or folders to pull up.

Do you have any network drives that are currently disconnected?
