I'm having a performance problem with Outlook 2007 running on XP SP2.
I've read the posted titled "Critical performance problem in Outlook 2007
and Vista" and I don't have any CyberLink Addins installed.
I do have the following addins installed though:
Active
MSFT Exchange Unified Messaging
MSFT Office SHarePoint Server Colleague Import Add-in
MSFT Outlook Mobile Service
Inactive
MSFT Access Outlook Add-in for Data Collection and Publishing
MSFT VBA for Outlook Addin
If I look at process explorer the thread consuming the CPU, about 50%, is
mso.dll!Ordinal6841+0x268.
Thoughts or ideas?
Thanks
Do you use windows desktop search. I was experiencing a number of issues, ran all the updates and fixes that I could find. I ended up turning of the Windows Desktop search.

It was installed at one point but no longer. I do run windows updates fairly
often and I should be up to date but I'll re-check to make sure.

I've experienced a similar problem as well. Outlook 2007 was trying to
syncronize some SharePoint lists. When I would look at the Send/Receive
details window, I would see an entry to Sharepoint. I'd try to cancel the
sync but would fail all the time. Reboot, gpupdate, recreating the outlook
profile has no effect. I eventually, deleted the lists within Outlook,
killed Outlook and restarted and my problem went away.
Hope this helps.
