MS Office Forum / Outlook / General MS Outlook Questions / February 2008Forwards in a received message will not open
I have Office 2007 Outlook but started encountering the same problem with Office 2003 before I upgraded. It started right after a Microsoft update on or around February 12 / 13. I've checked the settings and they are correct but when trying to open forwards contained in an email the following message appears: This file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following previewer: Microsoft Office Outlook message and item previewer I thought this might be an issue with Office 2003 which is one of the reasons I upgraded to Office 2007 but that did not help. I never had a problem with this before February 12 / 13. Any chance you are using Google Desktop Search. If yes remove it and try this again. There latest verion may have resolved this issue.
