Running Outlook 2003 SP 3.....Is there any way to disable "mark all as read"
from the Edit menu, either through some registry entry or VB add-in script?
I've had to restore way too many inboxes due to someone's poor mouse control
(although I guess you could also call it poor email management too)......Any
thoughts, comments, etc. would be greatly appreciated.  Much Thanks.

You can disable the command via Group Policies. The button ID is 1906

Pardon my ignorance, but where do I find Group Policies?

Dale,

Check out Roady's website http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/policies.htm
You will find very detailed instructions on how to set group policies.
Sorry I did not see your post earlier.
