My computer recently crashed (Processor overheated) Hard drive ok. I now want
to retreives the .pst file from the hard drive which I have fitted in a
cradle and attached to another pc. could anyone help in pointing me in the
right direction for finding the .pst file from the old hard drive.
Original .pst was with Outlook 2003. New system is Outlook 2007

1) open Windows Explorer and click Tools | Folder Options | tab View,
then enable 'Show hidden files and folders'
2) use Windows Search on the old HD to find all *.PST files; you should
recognize the correct file from its last update date and size.

Once copied to the new location, open the file with Outlook (do not use
Import).
