We have a user at work who cannot open an Excel file by double clicking in
Outlook.  If he saves the file to his hard drive, he can open it in Excel.
He is using my old computer and I never had a problem.  When he double clicks
file in Outlook, he gets the message "Open or Save", he selects open, he then
gets a message saying that "Application Not Found".  File does have ".xls"
extension.

Outlook 2003
Excel 2003
Office 2003 Professinoal

Appreciate any help.
Thank you

Try emptying the Outlook Secure Temp folder.

Turns out, he somehow lost his file association.  Associated ".xls" with
Escel & now all is fine.

Thank you for your help
