Hi,
I recently had to reinstall Windows XP Pro and Office 2003. I'd backed up my PST file and I restored my e-mail messages with no problems.
I've been unable, however, to restore my Tasks, e-mail addresses and Rules. Please could someone tell me how to do this?
Thanks,
Joe

Sounds you didn't use the the proper method to restore your pst-file.
The correct method is to connect to your pst-file via File-> Open-> Outlook
Data File... and then set it as your default delivery location.

If you had simply opened the pst file, within OL, then all would have been
there, as all that data is contained within the pst file

That is how I restored the file, but my tasks and e-mail addresses and still missing. I've also lost all my Contacts. Does anyone know how I can get them back?
Thanks,
Joe

Sounds like you have corrupted your mail profile. Did you overwrite the
new pst file created when you re-installed with the old one?
Create a new mail profile (Start-Control Panel-Mail-Show
Profiles-Add)and point it at the old pst.

If you added the origonal data file via the mail applet in the control
panel, or via Outlook>File>Open>Data File all data will be there
You may have to configure Contacts to use as an address book
If by email addressess you are refering to the autocomplete they are
contained in a seperate file, the .nk2 file
