Help!
My I.T. guy can't help me!

I inadvertently clicked on the "archive" prompt. Now I cannot find the notes
(very important) that I had in my Journal entries.
I need to pull them back out of the archive black-hole.

Any tips?

You can find the default settings under Tools/Options/Advanced
Options/AutoArchiving (or similar).

Additionally, it might be that you have different settings for the Journal
folder. That would be found by a right click on the folder, choose
Properties/AutoArchiving.
