Every time I start up my Outlook 2007 I get a message that says "personal
data file not closed properly" and then it takes forever to check and load
up. I removed Norton Anti-Virus and installed Trend Micro, still same
problem. I also re-installed the Office Professional 2007 upgrade and used
the repair feature. Still the same. I ran the Office Diagnostics. Still the
same. It has been sending error messages to Microsoft every day. Still...
What can I do to get the program to run as it is supposed to?

Run scanpst.exe for the pst or scanostexe if it is the ost file that is
causing the problem.

Also, If you notice down in the right corner of Outlook, there is a gear
icon, looks like the inside of a watch.  That means Outlook is tryine to
repair the pst or ost file. Let Outlook run all night if needed until the
gear icon is gone.

Regards,
Steven
