How do we change the Font or Font size in MS Outlook 2003?

I would like to change the font and/or font size in Outlook 2003 but cannot
find the method to do this on the tool bar (Standard and Advanced).

Depends on the message format and on the mail editor, neither of which you
state.  Plain Text messages don't have a font style or font size, per se,
although you can affect the way it appears when you type.  HTML and Rich
Text do have font style and size, adjustable by using the Formatting toolbar
in the new message window.
