Outlook 2003 SP3
Windows XP Pro SP2
Exchange 2003 SP3

I just changed the location of my email from the Personal *.pst file to
Mailbox - UserName.  Beforehand, the spam checking features of Outlook worked
fine.  Now, I'm getting the spam in my Inbox and it's not being
deleted/removed like it previously was.  What's the procedure to 'reset' this
so I don't get all the spam?  I've taken Outlook down and brought it back up
after I changed the location of the email.
FWIW, I changed the location of the emails so that I could see the emails
via Outlook Web Access.  I do not have Cached Exchange Mode checked - not too
sure if it matters - but thought you might need to know it.
Here's the general link that I used
http://www.windowsitpro.com/Article/ArticleID/39161/39161.html
TIA!
Tom

The spam checking relies on using Cached Exchange Mode - turn it on.

THANKS!  Works perfectly now!
How do you know these tidbits of information?  The MS site doesn't seem to
help for these!  Do you have a special (your own) website(s) that you like?
TIA!
Tom

I know this stuff because I use Outlook a lot in different situations and have been troubleshooting Outlook for about 10 years.

As for favorite websites, here are a few that I find very helpful (and also maintained by fellow Outlook MVPs):

http://www.slipstick.com
http://www.outlook-tips.com
http://www.howto-outlook.com
http://www.outlookcode.com

These are just a few, but there are many sites that have troubleshooting tips and hints.
