In order to migrate my outlook data to my laptop I took backup of my outlook
data from my PC using backup tool.
I then tried opening backup files in my laptop. All the emails and contacts
are downloaded but my account settings as they were in my PC are lost.
Can you pl. help me getting those account settings?

You forgot to include your version of Outlook.
Your account settings are not kept in the Outlook data file (PST). They're
stored in the registry of the computer. Exporting account settings has not
been available since Outlook 98 or 2000.
