I am using Outlook 2007.  When I do a search my inbox, it does not return all
of the results that it should.  For instance, I did an inbox search for an
e-mail that I knew had the city name "Logansport" in the body of the e-mail.
I got a few results of e-mails that had "Logansport" in the e-mail, and it
was highlighted yellow.  But the particular e-mail that I was looking for was
not there.  I forund the e-mail by scrolling through all e-mails until I
picked it out.  The name Logansport was definitely in the e-mail and was
spelled corredtly.

The same thing has happened with other word that I have searched for in the
Inbox.  I have copied and pasted the word straight from the e-mail to the
search box, just to make sure that I am not misspelling it.  I have received
a couple of e-mails from a bstevens@_________.  I searched for e-mails that
he sent to me last week, by typing "stevens" in the search box.  Normally the
results would bring up the e-mails with the "stevens" potion of his name
highlighted.  But it did not return this in the results.  But it did return a
couple of other e-mails from way in the past sent to me by another Stevens.

What is funny is that when I go to the sent folder, and do a search, I don't
seem to have this problem.  In fact, on the e-mails from bstevens@________, I
have replied to a couple of them, and when I type in "stevens" in the sent
folder search, it brings up these e-mails with the "stevens" portion
highlighted as expected.

What could be the problem?  Thanks!!!!!!!

Thanks for your help a couple of weeks ago.  I have finally had the time to
do what you said.  I went to the link that you sent, and did everything that
it said.  Still having the same problem.  My indexing status says that I have
0 items remaining.  I search for a particular word in the message that I know
is there.  The e-mail that I am looking for does not show up in the results.
It finds the word that I am searching for in other e-mails, but for some
reason does not show all the results with this same word in it.  I will go
through and manually search for the e-mail.  When I find it, the word that I
searched for is in it.  I did a little test, and I selected another word in
this e-mail, and did a search for this word.  The e-mail showed up in the
results.  What could the problem be.  Thanks!!!!
