Occassionally when shuting down Outlook 2007 I'll get an error
message..."Outlook encountered a proble and has stopped working....Looking
for a solution to the problem"....(or similar words).  Outlook closes...then
immediately re-opens.  Outlook is running fine except for this occassional
Shut problem described.

Anyone else having this problem?  Anyone have a reason why this happens?
Anyone have the Solution?

What is being logged to the Event Viewer regarding this?
Which addins do you have installed?

I had never used the Event Viewer before, so I waited until the problem
occurred again so I could be certain I would be providing correct information.

Today I got the same message at I was shutting down "OUTLOOK STOOPED
WORKING", etc.....the Event Viewer reads: (and I quote in part)

Faulting Application OUTLOOK.EXE, version 12.0.6300.5000........faulting
Module GoggleDesktopOfficedll_unloaded......exception code 0xc0000005...etc

ACTIVE Add-ins....Bus Contact Mgr, Calendar Gadgets, iTunes, Sharepoint
Server, Mobile Service, Outlook Backup, Windows Search Email Indexer

INACTIVE......Goggle Desktop Outlook Toolbar, Microsoft Exchange Unified
Messaging, Microsoft VBA for Outlook Addin

DISABLED APPLICATIONS....Send to Bluetooth

I'd uninstall Google Desktop Search.

In Programs & Features I have "Google Desktop" and Google Toolbar for IE".
Delete Both?

Months ago I went into msconfig\Stratup Tab...and Unchecked Google Desktop
so that it would NOT load with Vista Startup.  Having done that, isn't it
like Removing it?  Its not running?

I would, but start with Google Desktop.

No, it's nothing like uninstalling it.  The program and its attendant DLLs
are still installed and integrated with Outlook.

As I said, start by uninstalling Google Desktop Search.  Change only one
thing at a time.
