My outbox is empty, but I get a message in the bottom of my screen saying it is sending mail (3). I didn't look at the messages. My bad. Anyway, the situation seems to be corrected, thanks to your help. It was kinda weird seeing outlook sending messages that weren't in my outbox. So I downloaded MDBVU32 and went through the process of deleting the message directly, following someone else's directions. However, the message continues trying to be sent even though there is still nothing in the outbox. Now when I go into MDBVU32, there is no message that appears (since I deleted it). I think the problem is that I omitted the lpMDB->AbortSubmit() step, so the message might still be trying to be submitted even though it was deleted? How can I stop this now from still continually trying to be sent? Thanks, Harlan
