I normally have my Outlook displaying the Reading Pane, today when I come to
my PC I find that the Reading Pane is not enabled. When I go to enable it, I
find Reading Pane in gray and not accessible. How do I find where to enable
the Reading Pane so that I can turn it on again. I am the Administrator, I am
the only user of this PC.
Also, when I came to my PC today, it told me that a Microsoft Update had
occurred and I had to reboot, which I did.

See message thread originated by 'Scotch'.  There is some discussion there
focused on identifying this issue.
