How do I set up a new outlook archive file.  I want to save my existing file
and create a new one that I can autoarchive to...keeping my old file for
historical purposes

Create a new PST file (File | New | Outlook Data File), then use this as
the target file for your AutoArchive setup.

Didn't you ask this in another group as well?  It's best to ask in only one.

If your archive fodlers do not appear int he Folder List when you open
Outlook, then just rename the Archive PST while Outlook is closed.  When
AutoArchive runs again, Outlook will create a new Archive PST using the old
name.
