Accidentally, I sent a 17MB message with an very large attachment.
How can I stop it from continue going to its destination?
I am using Outlook 2007 and Vista Home Premium.
I tried selecting it in the Outgoing folder and clicked on the Delete to no
avail.

The suggestion about going Offline and then delete the outgoing message
worked. Thanks so much.
