I am trying to change the default for the MAILTO protocal. (i.e. when I click a email link on a website) Right now, Windows Mail is the only program listed for when I try to set associations for the MAILTO protocal. I did some searching/help and I read somewhere (cant remember where) that the program may not have been registered corretly and isnt listed on the registry. How can I fix this so the protocal uses Outlook and not Windows mail? In Vista, set the default mail program on the Start Menu, Default Programs. It's not a file association. My boss uses Outlook 2007 and his shows up on the default list, but mine doesnt.
