Several times in the last couple of months when I am in Outlook Express 6 an
error message come up that says - Internal Error of the Program.  Would you
like to send an error report?  I click on yes and Outlook shuts down, then
appears - "Program Error - msimn.exe has generated errors and will be closed
by windows.  You will need to restart the program.  An error log is being
created."  When I reopen Outlook, ALL the previous items in my Inbox have
been cleared out and I can't find them.  The are not in the deleted Folder or
the Spam Folder.  I also do not know where to look for the Error Report or
log is to see if I can find out why it is happening.  I have lost some
valuable information.  Can anyone help me, but please remember I am not all
that computer literate, simple please :-)

This newsgroup discusses Outlook, not Outlook EXPRESS.  Post in a
newsgroup for Outlook EXPRESS.

How do I find the proper Group? It doesn't list it on the left.  Your help
would be appreciated.

I don't use Microsoft's bastardized forum interface to Usenet.  I use
a newsreader (Outlook Express) and post to Usenet using an NNTP
(network news transfer protocol) server - like it is supposed to be
done.  OE is bundled with IE so maybe look under IE.  I'm sure if I
went over to Microsoft's "communities" and used their webnews
interface that it would probably take all of two minutes to dig around
to find OE.  Maybe another webnews users can give you the step-by-step
navigation to find the simulated OE forum.

how do I find the right Group?  It is not listed on the left where I found
this group.  Your help would be appreciated.

Like Vanguard, I don't use the web thingy. I hate web views of NNTP
services. However, if you are wedded to the web, start with the basic list
of languages in the "Discussion Groups Home" list. Expand "English", and
look for, "MSN and Internet". Expand that and look for, "Outlook Express".
Expand that and either select, "Outlook Express General", or expand "Outlook
Express 6.0 and Previous Versions". From there you may select either,
"Outlook Express 6 General", or "Outlook Express 6 Stationery", depending
upon the assistance you require.
