I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem with Outlook 2003.  I
recetly installed Outlook 2003 on my computer.  I can go in and open it, send
and receive messages one time.  After I send or receive messages and close
out it I try to send or receive an email after that, it does nothing.

I try setting the Send Preferences by making sure all my email addresses are
selected in the group however after that first time sending, it cannot find
any email addresses so the send preferences does not work.

If I reboot, it works fine the first time.

How do I correct this, or do I just return it and go back to Office XP

When you close Outlook, does the outlook.exe process actually quits?
See http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/outlookdoesntclose.htm

Did you recreate your mail profile already after the upgrade?

Thank you Roady.

I hadn't tried either of those below prior to your post.  I did try them
after reading and it is doing something strange.

I first got rid of all the add ins (Fax Service) and set up a new profile.
It did work a couple of times so I deleted the original profile, then it
stopped working.  I created another new profile and tried again.  Now when I
go into the new profile I created it will let me get mail 1 time (after that
it is blank) but if I go back into the other profile that one works 1 time.

If I keep switching back and forth, it works no problem but then I have my
mail in different locations and it is kind of a pain.

Any other thoughts?
