enabling option for making word as default editor

The option for making workd as default editor in outlook is disabled in my
system, How can i enable it?

"workd".  So would that be Microsoft's Word (capital "W", no "k")
program?

Integration requires that Outlook and Word be the SAME version.

Is MS Word actually installed?
